Pivotal Women’s Psychology provides services to women across the lifespan. We offer support to those experiencing, or at risk of developing, mild to moderate mental health conditions. Support is provided to expectant and new mothers, women with mood changes related to their cycle, women transitioning through perimenopause and women experiencing any challenging life transition or change.

We are committed to providing evidence-based psychological services that are tailored specifically to the unique needs of women and individuals assigned female at birth. We respect the expertise of medical practitioners and provide regular written communication and updates on progress to referring professionals.

To ensure that women receive the most appropriate and specialised care, we are unable to accept referrals of cases featuring:

– Current or enduring psychotic illness;

– Long-standing suicidal or homicidal ideation or suicide attempts without psychiatric support;
‍‍
– Current alcohol or other drug abuse without Drug & Alcohol service support

Please refer clients with these circumstances to other community services, public adult mental health services, or tertiary mental health services.
