After more than a decade of working with women and children, my practice has evolved, and I am now offering support to women across the lifespan. My mission is to help women through some of life's most significant transitions and changes and the mental health challenges that accompany them. Whether you're navigating the journey to motherhood, dealing with premenstrual mood disorders, or transitioning through perimenopause to menopause, I am here to help. I understand that these changes can affect you personally, professionally, and socially.  Having faced these transitions myself, I bring a compassionate and empathetic approach, combining my personal experiences with professional training to offer practical, tailored support and interventions that meet your individual needs.

Throughout my career, I have supported women dealing with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, insomnia, parenting difficulties, relationship challenges, stress, birth trauma, and trauma earlier in life.

I am a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental therapist who takes the time to understand my client’s individual journey and build a supportive, nurturing relationship to help my clients achieve their goals. I draw on a range of psychological models and therapies including:

  • Attachment Theory
  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi)
  • Mindfulness
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
  • Trauma-Focused Approach
  • Family Systems Approach
  • Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC)/Possums Program

I have completed specialised perinatal mental health training from the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE Australia), Seleni iInstitute (USA) and the Centre for Perinatal Psychology (Australia). I am a Circle of Security program facilitator, a Bringing Up Great Kids program facilitator, and have completed training in Neuroprotective Developmental Care / Possums Program.
